Small Creek Project Ipswich
Christina Gnezdiloff and Claudia Bergs of Landscapology will discuss the Small Creek project they worked on in Ipswich which turned a concrete channel drain back into the winding natural creek it was many years earlier. The land was re-vegetated and includes bike paths for public access. The team lead by Amalie Wright won many awards for the project including AILA National and Qld Award for Land Management.
This AILDM Queensland seminar will be a very special one because apart from our great program of speakers we are pleased to hold the event at the Old Museum Building during the EKKA. We will take a walk through some of the gardens with AILDM Director Andrew Munro before our talks commence.
Drinks and finger food will be provided.
Due to limited parking around the EKKA we would recommend you get dropped off or take public transport to the venue (there will be no parking available at the Old Museum). There may be some on-street parking found nearby but if required parking stations are available at Fortitude Valley and the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
