The City is seeking a Project Manager to join our Tree Management Team.
The City’s Tree Management Team is a leader in urban forest management. We are guided by our Sustainable Sydney and urban forest strategies to deliver ambitious goals to increase canopy cover and improve the urban forest.
Working as part of the Tree Management Team, you will manage the City’s ‘inroad’ tree planting and urban greening programs to best practise industry, asset, project and contract management standards. Your responsibilities will also include managing civil construction, project and service contracts, collecting and analysing data, providing expert technical advice to a range of stakeholders.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or Design, coupled with relevant demonstrated industry experience managing urban greening projects, from design to construction.
Excellent communication skills are also required, as is a proven track record in meeting strict deadlines, balancing and responding flexibly to competing priorities and to work effectively as part of a team.
