05.05.21 Landscape architect or landscape designer
As a Landscape Designer/ Architect at Pepo Botanic Design, you will have a genuine passion for residential garden design with an interest in designing unique, beautiful garden spaces for our clients. You will be required to collaborate with others but also be self driven and able to work independently.
Clear communication skills are required for interaction with both colleagues and clients. A rigorous approach to detail and an innovative mind is required to solve complex problems. Good negotiation skills will be essential for working through the design process. The ability to adhere to timetabling is essential.
The Landscape Designer/ Architect is required to:
Communicate with clients and other team members in a efficient, respectful and effective way.
Verbally and graphically present their ideas as sketches and drawings to communicate ideas to clients and contractors
Administration & Planning
Carry out administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Maintain and develop the client project management system
Have an interest in developing the products and materials specified in garden designs
Be able to estimate time required for completion of tasks
Contribute to the whole design process; from concept design to council approvals and documentation
Ensure design is carried out to the highest possible standard with a strength in design process and applied design theory
Have a passion for Horticulture and planting design
Able to use AutoCAD/ Vectorworks to clearly communicate the design in plan, section and elevation
Able to use Adobe Creative Suite to creatively illustrate garden spaces
Able to clearly communicate the design and its materiality in a clear and engaging presentation to clients
Qualifications & Requirements
2-3 years post-graduate experience in a design practice in Australia (essential)
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or Diploma of Landscape Design (essential)
