If you provide professional landscape services, the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM) is the best investment you can make in your business.
We support practitioners in landscape design and environmental management, and have an extensive network of members around Australia.
Many councils see membership of AILDM as a quality credential, making you eligible to submit landscape plans with Development Applications. It also reassures private home owners and commercial property owners that you will provide a quality service.
We actively promote the benefits of using professional landscape designers through our involvement in magazine editorials, garden judging and garden show activities. The AILDM National Landscape Design competition showcases our members' work and is an excellent opportunity for media recognition.
If you have a professional qualification in landscape design and management, or you are studying this qualification, you can apply to join AILDM. Our members have a Diploma of Horticulture (inclusive of design units) or a Diploma of Landscape Design (two year full-time/four year part-time) or equivalent.
When you join, you must agree to a Code of the Ethics. This ensures the integrity, conduct and service we all provide is of the highest standard.
