National Landscape Design Awards 2010
AILDM National Design Awards for 2010 presented at Annual Dinner(16 August 2010) The Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM) held its gala dinner on Saturday night, 14 August 2010. The winners of the awards for each category were presented to their highly deserving winners, as well as those 'highly commended' and the most prestigious of all, the 'Allan Correy Award for Excellence'.
Tim Entwisle was our brilliant Master of Ceremonies and AILDM's Patron, Allan Correy, enthralled us with part two of the story of his fascinating life, from the UK to the US as a student of Landscape Architecture (delivered by AILDM President Adrian Swain).
Even to be accepted as a nominee for the AILDM Design Awards requires a huge amount of hard work, inspiration, knowledge and dedication. It is an outstanding achievement then to be recognised for excellence in one's field- and know that both peers and the industry acknowledge it.
Congratulations to all the entrants, to those highly commended, and to the winners! In the Spring issue of Landscape Outlook, AILDM's official journal, we will showcase the winning designs - so don't miss it!
