Revegetation Techniques and Case Studies There are three techniques that are commonly used for revegetation: tubestock planting, direct seeding and natural or assisted regeneration. In this seminar you will hear from two speakers who will discuss the different techniques, their benefits and disadvantages. We will also discuss a number of case studies and how these techniques can be applied A special emphasis will be placed on what a designer needs to consider when involved in a project that calls for revegetationt techniques to be used.
Topic 1: Introduction to Revegetation
Ruth Czermak will give a brief introduction to the three revegetation techniques commonly used and will outline their benefits and disadvantaged.
Topic 2: Revegetation on Farms
Keith Cumming from Arborline will discuss what designers need to focus on when involved in revegetation projects. He will use examples from his own work to illustrate his points. Arborline wholesale nurseries, supply seedlings for broad acre forestry, farm revegetation & forestry projects.
