The Kinglake area is where the Greenacres Turf Farm is located. 

During this seminar Anthony from Greenacres will give us an introduction to turf including the differences between cool and warm season  grasses, the different design characteristics of turf (leaf size, texture and colour), maintenance issues (mowing heights, responsible fertiliser use etc), the benefits of turf (cooling effect, CO2 capture etc), breeding and advances in newer varieties as well as a look at some cases studies ranging from the small scale through to commercial size.

Where: 
1363 Yea  Rd, Kinglake West.   Yea Rd is a continuation of Plenty Rd. When you get to the  Kinglake West township keep heading straight to Yea DO NOT turn right and go towards Kinglake, from this intersection we are 1km past on the left hand  side.
