Lighting Design & Plants Species - 24 Feb 2009 - Brisbane
AILDM evening not to be missed……..Good lighting design can bring your design to life. As well as ensuring safe access the right lighting can influence the character of a space and create a myriad of garden ‘moods’. Careful consideration of lighting in conjunction with hardscape textures and plant forms and textures allow us to play on the finer detail of a gardens character and extend the period of its use.
Lighting Designer, Loretta Maitland, from ME Lighting (Sydney) will be speaking on current trends and future directions for lighting. Loretta will be discussing and demonstrating a range of lighting effects on hard and soft scape compositions in the Eco Outdoor showroom.
Recent ME Lighting projects include show gardens at the Chelsea Flower and Garden Show in 2007 and 2008; Melbourne Flower and Garden Show (2007) as well as Sydney in Bloom over recent years.

Robert Percy of Aspley Nursery will be showcasing a range of new and different plant species and supplying plants for the lighting design demonstration. Robert has a lifetime of experience in the production of high quality greenstock and contract growing for landscape projects.
Loretta and Robert will be available to discuss any specific questions / issues with you during the evening.
Refreshments will be served.
Registrations close Friday 20 February.
